No Glove, No Love

No Glove, No Love

Glove fit can be one of the most overlooked details in golf. Use these helpful glove tips to help you grip it and rip it.

  1. We know the right fit matters. Your glove should feel like a second skin. A perfect fit means just the right length in the fingers, palm and just enough wiggle room to close your hand around the club. If in doubt, get a size down-your glove will stretch as you use it.  Any extra bunching could impact your comfort, swing and maybe work up a blister or two.
  2. Sausage fingers after a few beverages? No problem! Consider a little less leather between the fingers- breathable, stretchable neoprene will keep those sexy sausage fingers dry and nimble!
  3. Leather breathes, but stretches! Golfers’ needs change throughout the season. You might consider a couple different gloves if your hands expand in the warmer season and get a little smaller in the cold. It’s pretty normal to need a few different options, so don’t be afraid to have a couple gloves to get exactly the right fit for exactly the right day.
  4. Rain (and sweat) will happen. If things get a little wet out on the course, make sure to give the glove a little air and time to dry. Hands sweat- it’s a thing. Putting a damp glove back in your bag can cause mold and the material to break down faster (not to mention bacteria). The weather and sweat will impact the fit of your glove. Keeping your glove dry will preserve the fit and form of your glove for years to come.

These tips can assist with the overall feel and comfort of your glove and contribute to the enjoyment of your game!
